ALBINO PLEC

Hey, I picked up an Albino Plec, as it was called at the store and its about 1 inch long so i assume its a baby.

I just cant seem to find any info on it. I want to know its fully grown length. The shop said bout 4 inches.

It does not look like a bristlenose or a common plec.

Its top fin is always down on its body, like the rest in the shop. It s completely white (albino lol)

I was wondering if anybody else had one. Its eyes are right on the top of its head too, unlike the oto who's are on the side. I say this as it reminds me more of a oto than a plec.

hi

i used to have one they get to round 4-5 inches

mine always had its top fin down to guess its just how they have it

i dont really have any other info on them apart from size sry

The only Albino Plecs I have seen are Albino common Plecs, they get to at least 12 inches so be careful.

eithe a pic of your fish or a similar looking one would really help with the id.

Does it look like the pleco in my signiture? If so they are not a rare fish but not a lot os known about them. What I do know is that they are simply common pleco's (which does not say much) that are albino. They will grow the same as a common pleco and will eat the same. I hope this helps ^^ ~Scarlett

are you sure its not a bn when they are thet small you cant see the bristles if it is a bn it will grow between 4-5 inch
