Are'nt Cories supposed to be bottom dwellers.... Since I put 'em in yesterday, they've been up & down the front panel non stop.... occassionally stopping at one of the Apple Snails like cleaning off some slime from them, & then they're off again.... They do look happy though, but never on the bottom????

They are bottom dwellers, but albino corys are much more active than your standard corys and tend to get a bit bored staying down the bottom.

Mine swim all over the tank

They are technically but albino cories, more so than others Ive found, are completely bonkers and love nothing more than to have swimming contests to see who can get to the top fastest, who can withstand the filter output longest and generally mess about with each other non stop, they are fabulous little chaps.

I've just sold mine, they did used to wander everywhere, but predominantly the bottom after a while, they did occasionally shoot up to the top for air.

lol, they do seem a bit more bonkers than the other cory's, I only have one albino & want to buy him some friends, I thought it was just him that was a bit nuts.

i have 3 Sterba's, they will clean the floor but are so hyper xD

Mine are NEVER on the bottom. Ever. Ive had one sit on an apple snail for a while, and they race along the strips of driftwood I have in there....but never on the sand.

My two albinos run up, down and along the front glass a lot. Seems to be a behaviour peculiar to albinos as my others don't go it.

Ha, mine are little adventurers too - they only really skim the bottom when i've put some food in, but the rest of the time they're playing in the plants or in the filter current :)

when i had two of the albino corys, they were also really active, mainly streaking water down the front of the tank when they go up for air lol!!!

i dont have these anymore, they went into my dads tank, and i bought two different corys, but i dnt knw what they are!!! i will upload pics son, but
i havent put them up onto photobucket yet

:fun:

I have 2 Albino's and they are the same but the female occasionally sits on the flxible air curtain at the back of the tank

I was worried for a while but them she moved away after 5 mins
