same as a cherry barb i guess...

the male will have frilly fins and the females will get fatter.

they are egg scatterers so you'll need to make provisions for gathering the eggs (they breed just like danios. have a search)

You should get the regular cherry barbs instead. The males are very impressive once they're ready to breed. Imo, a male cherry barb in breeding condition is far more impressive than a neon or cardinal. If you want brightly colored fish, get about 10 cherry barbs (5 females, 5 males). I plan to have at least 20 of them in my 70 gallon tank. Or none if I decide on angelfish, but I'm leaning towards the cherry barb swarm and some gouramis.

i do not no how to breed them as im trying to right now but i do no how to sex them!

the male with be white and the females will be a yellowish color.
if you have more than 1 male the dom. male will become a very light pink color! its a very stunning color
