Albino Channel Catfish

Hey, I bought an albino channel catfish a while ago (1 month ago) and I've been doing a bunch of research, now, I didn't realize that these guys grew so large, I'm getting an 800gallon koi pond this summer and I was wondering if the catfish would be fine in the pond?


Edit---> I've seen it done on a few sites I was looking at, and some even said it's better for them to be in cold water, is this true?

Should be fine. They are a coldwater fish and so long as the pond is deep enough and there is an opening if the surface freezes over, it'll be okay.
