Is it a cory or a bristlenose you are enquiring about? You've posted in the cory section yet mention albino bristlenose.

The nitrate test result would also help.

I couldnt understand the last bit, when you added this fish were others added with it?

Yes are you repeatedly losing albino BN Plecs or are you losing albinos of various species?

BN Plecos are catfish, but they are not Corydoras. I think BN Plecs may be a little more sensitive than Corys generally, expecially when they are small. But that may just be me learning to take care of baby Plecs. :/ Also albinos and other line bred fish have been inbred more and often are less resilient.

thanks chris, added 3xbronze,3xalbieno .very small all of them were.3 bronze are great getting big .acouple of days of getting them the albienos died one after another no sympts just died.got a abieno bn lasted a week, it was a baby to.when it died got a baby bn (just a plane one)baby to ,its doing brill ,sorry not got a nitrate kit ,got the rest .should i get one

any cat fish realy are albienos harder to keep than others 3 were corys

I don't think they are harder to keep, but they are more inbred and may be less hardy.

:hyper: thanks jolly its just strange that all the albienos i get die ,but the others do great

Sorry for your loss nitro7.

As jollysue said, the albinos may be inbred too much and the stress of transportation might have been too much for them. How long were they in quarantine at the fish store and how long of a ride is it from the store to your home? Did you float the bag in order to equalize the temperature?

thanks cory_dad .the shop is just 5 or 6 mins away, dont know how long fish were in the shop for, floated the bag for about 30 mins. the corys were very small when i got them(3albienos 3bronze ,the bronze are getting big)do you think i could put some more bronze in to go with the other ones or is my tank stocked anough thanks

Well, if they were very small then chances they just recently got them. There are fish shops that don't quarantine either so it could be the stress of the transport to them and maybe not the same water parameters. Who knows.

Lets see 175 litres is about 45 gallons. You have roughly 22 fish so adding 3 more Cories is no problem. Just keep the filter running and maintained along with weekly water changes. But I guess I really don't need to tell you that. ;)

Cheers.
