A few thing for ya.

1. the animal food warehouse is selling there awesome 10 gallon kits (they even have air pumps) for $40 (usualy $60) and they have a cupon for $5 off a $10 live purchase.

2. If you want to house a native fish to AK you need to get a Fish Resource Permit Here so as to not be illegal.

3. and Finaly Isn't it nice to have leaves again.

what filter does it come with? the starter kits i've usually seen there have the ugf's. house of critters was doing a 29.99 for a 10G starter a few weeks back, don't know if they still are and they did have 30G with hood and lights for 99.00

and yes it's wonderful to finally have the snow melted away- everything's so green now!

thanks for the info man......i will be getting a new tank, hopefully to keep longhorns mollies! do we know what color they are yet?ive been intrested in keeping salmon fry, like they do in the school programs for stocking lakes.......but i think the set up would cost too much. thank god for leaves, im going on a bike hike today just to be out in whatever sun i can get.

Ouch - I've a sunburn here!!! Been outside in the sun for what seems like 72 hours straight. Watching for a foaling... The leaves are just starting to pop, you know, when you look through the woods and think (that's a green tinge to everything right). Glad you got the info that you are seeking OPCN - got the same line from local authorities... Do you plan to try to keep local fish? If you folks ever here of successful local backyard, all year pond keepers please let me know - I want to know if it can be done. The pond here (3 feet deep) does freeze clear to the bottom so it's out but maybe I could dig it out deeper or build one...

I'm acctualy doing it for school I applied for a permit from yeasterday to sept. 12th and am going to study where exactly fish live in the Lagoon. Fishie jessie I don't think you will be able to get a permit unless you are home schooling I think its a class room thing .
