Airlock In Eheim Professional Help!

cleaned large tank today and also the eheim pro filter, seem to have got an airlock in it and no matter what i do i cant seem to fix it. Ive tried pouring water down the top of the inlet & outlet pipes ( using the part which is covered by screw top caps) ive tried filling the cannister to the top, putting the filter head back on..and still no joy..aaaaaaaargh, ive never had this problem before have spent hours on it and have lost the plot....can anyone help??? our pipes that lead to & from the filter are down the back of the tank that is up against a wall so are not easily accessable to put in a bucket and try to clear the air that way ( like i found on a youtube post) please someone help me and my fishies

if, at any point, the pipes dip below the filter outlet/inlet level. you will get problems.
another reason could be a O-ring, or seal, is leaking.

whichever, you need to sort the space behind the tank. you cant afford to have your pipes cramped. as you are finding, it creates a whole host of problems.

I'd pull out the filter, and its piping. then replace it, carefully routing the pipes so they run as straight as possible. you may even need to shorten them.
