Air Stone Under Sand Substrate?

Ok im about to clean my sand and add it in my tank but I was wondering is it ok to put your air stone under the sand or will the air just push the sand away revealing the air stone anyway? And also if you dont suggest putting it under the sand then if you could make a suggestion on where to put it.

Yes itl just move the sand. I put the tube under the sand and had the stone pop up under a little pot that you get aquatic plants in, i moved sand around it and eventually over hours itd move the sand around it. Now mines under a coconut cave and bubbles come out the top

Yeah, the sand moves away. The bubbles spread the sand out.

Maybe a filter with a venturi connection might be the answer instead
