Ive got a 3ft tank with a fluval 4 + located to the right of the tank and im thinking will it be worth adding in an air stone or something along those lines -

Something to create bubbles and aeriate the tank abit more ..

Advise on a post card

Well it can't hurt so why not? I actually like the look of the bubbles in my 3 footer, and the fish certainly seem to like it. :)

You don't need the bubbles for the fish but if you like the look of them go ahead. That filter also comes with an eductor to pull surface air into the pump outlet so that you would not need a separate pump to get bubbles. The air tubing just connects to the small hole on the return nozzle and pulls in air from above the tank surface. If you still have all the original parts, the tube is about 6 inches long and has a plastic thing that you can use to throttle the surface air being admitted into the tube.
