Air pump

I was wondering if i added my air pump when he isnt in if that would help clear the water and speed up the bacteria forming???


Also if i do can i place it on the filter where the air venturi kit is placed or will that damage the filter?

What kind of filter is it?

If you already have filtration the air pump probably won't help so much.
