i recently done some changes to my tank i.e took off hood fitted luminaire etc. since i have done it i conected my skimmer back on and it now it flooding my tank with very tiny air bubbles and i cant seem to alter it. if i loose more in air it does get better but not go away the only trouble is then the pipe that goes from the tank which is a u bend is only half getting full with water unless i turn air down which then increases bubbles. will this do any harm or is this normal after skimmer been turned off for few hours and this was not happening before and was collecting foam fine. it is a seaclone skimmer which i know are crap but it was working ok before i dissconected and reconected.

How long's it been doing this now

Skimmer can take a few days to settle after being cleaned , I know mine doesnt take particuallry kindly to it, it shouldnt cause any problems to the tank, althught it is a pain, it should settle down a bit surprised it hasnt yet, I dont really know a lot about the seaclone but as I say mine does usually act up for a day or 2

:D

4ft luminaire with 4 x t5 bulbs 2 white 54w and two blue

I think it would be best for me to leave this to any nem & experts but I dont think you have adaquete amounts of lighting for the Nem or the maxima IMO

Also Maximas are the 2nd most light demanding of the Tridacnid clams
