From what I've read now; for a marine aquarium atleast air bubbles are bad.. the main cause of salt creeps in an aquarium.
I know my protien skimmer produces bubbles inside the unit, but when the water returns back to my aquarium. I often see a few bubbles.
Majority of theses are prob caused by the water flowing out of the skimmer into the main aquarium and the splash causing bubbles. Like a waterfall.
Are these bubbles also bad? Should I try to minimize it some how.
Having a juwel aquarium, the max water level can only go so high, so there is a height difference of about 8-10cm between the skimmer (sitting on the side of the tank) and max aquarium water level.
Btw salt creeps are white lines that go across the inside of the aquarium. Both in and out of water)
