AHHHH! OUTRAGEOUS BETTAA!

isn't $10CDN like $5USD? So that'd make 1.25CDN like..free over here wouldn't it  ;) ;) (I kid, I kid).

Maybe those are a more quality betta...they do vary in price...atlot lol (jus tlook on AB sometimes, woo).

You should just buy some from Marianne lol, she has some that are absolutely to die for..for $5-10 USD. www.bcbetta.com  .

In Canada the cheapst VTs I've seen are for $1.99. Other times I've seen VTs range from $4-$7, it all depends on where you go, and what tail type you want.

I bought a nice male CT for I believe around $9.99CDN (can't remember exactly) from a lfs close to where I live, and a great female CT for $6.99CDN. They also had super deltas and moons ranging from $15-$29 depending upon quality.

Thanks.

I found a place where i can get CTs for $10 cnd. Thats the cheapest I have found so far.
The most that I have spent on a VT was $8 or $9....
Plus I just found a new store close to me... we'll wait and see what their prices are like :D

I've seen bettas for 3$ at big al's. Usually they are in the 5-6$ range in Montreal. Crowns are about 10$

Haven't seen anything else but I'm supposed to go to this awesome fish store n Montreal where they have all kind of bettas this weekend. I'll see what I can find!

I ordered from bcbetta.com, her bettas are to die for! About 5$ to 100$ for one betta and a matching female, shipping excluded! I bought them with the purpose of breeding them, I wouldn't have bought them just as pets...

And Breeding starts tomorrow morning!!!

Why wouldn't you buy them as pets? I have bought 2 so far from her..and after I get my new tank finished..I plan to buy more from her, and I have no plans on breeding at all. :/

She has great fish for good prices. Those that are $5-$15 aren't for breeding anyways...I wouldn't think anyways.

oh I would get the 5-10$ ones for pets, just not the more expensive ones strictly as pets...

I' trying to breed the pair I got from her three weeks ago. I paid 30$ for them but i wouldn't feel bad if they didn't breed

Man, I could never lay down 30 bones on a pair of fish, that Im not buying in person. Too many risks. She sounds like a quality salesperson though. I want one for my sister, in university, because she's a little sad about a break up with her boyfriend :/

Cheers.

Don't get excited. I bought mine for over $70.00 US for this one and haven't said nothing yet. LOL

Opps. I forgot to add the transhipper from thailand to usa $5.00 each, the box $5.00, heatpack $2.00, and express USPS mail cost yet. Hahahaha LOL
Therefore, next time when you see a betta cost $10.00 Canada, that is a good buy. :hey:

I beat you with this one yeevia :p
