Resurrecting the Passion of Fishkeeping
I have African Clawed Frogs, and as some of you know - ACF and ADF shed their skin fairly frequently...and most of the time they eat the skin. Its very healthy for them but fairly icky to see....(imagine a giant filmy slimy thing being eaten with great enthusiasm and kicking)
Well my boyfriend was walking by and noticed one of my ACF in mid-gulp with the skin....and he flipped out!!!!! He started yelling for me and had taken half of the top of the tank off to reach in and "Save" the frog from "dying" before I could run into the room....and start laughing hysterically
it was soooo funny!
He had no idea about the skin shedding as he has only been around them since we have lived together, and has only VERY recently started dipping his toes into the water side...haha
hopefully this fright won't set him back
