Okay so this afternoon i went out and got some liveplants. After a couple minuts of adjusting them in and getting them settled i was puzzled and I am looking to my fellow fish loving forum friends for help!!!!!

1) Do you need a bubbler when you put live plants in the aquarium?

2) Is it normal for fish to be scared and stay in corners when you first put plants in??

3) Is it normal for your water to be cloudy when you first put plants in?

I know i should have put this in the plant secton but its sort of..and emergancy! :-( :-(

HELP!! THANKS!!! :look: :look:

No bubbler is necessary..

Depending on the fish (whether they are timid or not), yeah, they probably will lay low for some time...getting use to their environment again...

When is the last time you cleaned the gravel? I would say when you added the plants, your probably stirred up left over food and waste. Vaccume the gravel, and it should be fine.

You might cause a bit of a mess in the water if the plants came in pots packed with that foam stuff which seems designed to crumble at the slightest touch. I learnt my lesson with the first plant I put in, I had to spend 10 minutes fishing the foam out of the tank afterwards.
