Went to take the dog out (she's fifteen and needs a little help getting up sometimes) and just as I was helping her back into the house I see this cat sort of jog away from like a foot in front of us. I took the dog in and came back out to see what was going on, I knew there was a cat that had been hanging around the hotel we live behind but hadn't reallly seen it other than some glowing eyes off in the distance. Well, I came out, called for a few seconds and figured the cat was probably long gone, and the next thing I know it comes running out of nowhere and starts rubbing all up against me! I went in and got her some cat food in a dish and set it out for her while I pet her. She was so pushy about getting into my face, she actually put her paws on my chest and stood looking me straight in the eye! So now I have her in the bathroom with a litter box and some food and water lol.
This is nuts, we always seem to have animals come to us no matter where we live! That's how we ended up getting most of the ones we've had over the years, they just show up out of nowhere and stay! I hope she has a home or she's just lost, or that she's at least fixed, becuase if we do end up keeping her my mom will have a heart attack if we have to deal with kittens again. I mean, this will make our sixth cat, and out of those we were going to be finding homes for at least two of them. When I move out I'm planning on taking two, but if this one stays, it might be moved up to three. Jeez, I don't know how I'm going to do with a dog when I have cats falling into my lap all the time!
Well, I'll keep you guys posted on what happens next!
