Aggressive Rosy Barbs?

Anyone have much experience with Rosy barbs? Do they tend to be aggressive?

Rosy Barbs are not that aggressive. Kept in a group, they rarely bother other fish with the usual provisor, any slow moving long finned fish is asking to be nipped.

Keep 4-5 in a decent sized tank with other active fish and they'll be a welcome addition. Try to get at least 2 males, but in a group make sure females outnumber males.

2 males will often perform the "spiral dance" where they show off their very best colouration, well worth seeing, (although for the real experts in that, you need Barbus nigrofasciatus). More males will harrass the females overly.

Aggression is usually small and contained within the group.
