My pleco seems to be attcking my corys when every they get too close to his space. im pretty sure he wont hurt them, i suppose the only thing he could do is give them a really big hiky but i am a little worryed. iv been calling him a common pleco, im not sure thogh. any help is appriciated :D

I'd say that if your plec is showing signs of aggression now then maybe a bigger tank for him. Hes going to grow alot bigger and quicker than guppies and even with a plec mouth can still stress them out, especially in a smaller tank.

Hope i helped

Is he getting enough food, When confronted with a fish so different as a live bearer unless breeding is going on a pleco shoul dbe beyond doscile. Also A pleco can do horrible things to a live bearer, Firstly the slime coat can be taken off in an instant and leave them open to bacteria and fungus, Secondly if he gets a hold of them with enought force to keep them in one place his rasping plates could be throught those scales in a moment. Try Zuchini and get him a bigger tank

im going to be moveing him to my female betta tank tonight because the guppy tank is out of alge, i alternate him every other week. i try my best to keep him fed and im sure hes quite happy, iv got some pvp pipeing in there for him and he protects it with his life, maybe thats it -_-
