Are cories aggressive? I have (well - had) 6 new gold shoulder cories and having some severe problems with them. I found one dead yesterday and it did'nt have a dorsal fin. Now today I have found one looking very sick, its tail is a stub and it has fungus growing there. What is going on? I have moved him into a QT but I don't think he' s going to make it. They were all fine when I got them.

Do they attack each other? The only other fish they are with are 5 otos.

Please help!!

Cories usually are very peaceful. I recently found out a few species get aggressive only during mating time (not aeneus which is what I think you have a strain of) but it's normally not fatal fighting. Yours sound like they are suffering from something more like acclimation and a bacterial or fungal attack. The missing fin on the dead one was probably eaten after it died or was caused by fin rot which is what your other may be suffering from.
