I think that picture is of an exceptional fish... I spent a while looking for other pictures of this cross, and most looked like duds / boring... so if they could guarantee I'd get that particular fish, I'd buy one... looking at several fish in the back ground, it looks like a lot of variation, however most of the background fish look better than the pictures from other sellers, so this seller must have gotten an exceptional group

Yeah, I noticed the background fish too. Of course they're going to show their best 1. Do we think they are a cross between leopard & "blue" angels (of a few varieties). The coloring may take several generations to be more dependable but I bet more dedicated breeders will select for that pretty 1. Of course, with variations there will be better & lesser fry in a given batch. & they may have to grow quite a bit to tell & then more time for those better fish to pair up. That's why some new fish varieties can be so expensive...& why culling is so hard.
