This is my first post on TFF.
I'm the pround owner of a 12" African Tigerfish. Anyone else out there either have or has had one?
Absolutely amazing fish. Fast doesn't even cover it. In the 38 years since my first tank I have never had such a magnificent specimen. But they are so skiddish you really have to be carefull, because while cleaning the tank it sometimes totally freaks out. And fish this fast can hurt themselves.
Just wanted to let you folks know incase you ever get the opportunity to own one. I've had to pick him off the floor 3 times now. And there is two problems accociated with that; They have pretty wild teeth even at 12", and your heart skips a beat or two thinking they might be hurt.
Plus I've got him eating trout from Costco which is handy.
