Would it be possible to merge my 4 kenyi's and my jewel cichlid into a 55 gallon? Do I need to go bigger? Would it be possible for them to co-exist in any tank? If all of them won't fit in a 55, how many would? I need all the help I can get to pick the right tank or these fish before they start killing each other.

I don't think it is such a great idea to mix the Jewel in with mbuna. Kenyi are extremely aggressive, but they may not be able to cope with the full out hostility that Jewels are well known to exhibit. I would certainly keep it all mbuna. The kenyi will be fine in the 55 though, and you will want to add lots of fish to keep it crowded enough that the weaker fish don't end up taking too much abuse, but definetly stick to mbuna.
