african knife sickness?

my african knife fish seems to be acting normal but in its left side it is more puffed out than the other side, i feed it bloodworms and waxworms does this mean its just fat or is something going on. thanx

Is it only like that after the fish has eaten or all the time, try a shelled pea to clear him out, can the fish maintain his balance in the water, there are no scales sticking out like a pincone, also what does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet.

no the fish is balanced in the water, and how do i feed it a shelled pea if it is used to eating only meaty foods

I see they don't eat veg give it a go anyway, boil frozen peas for a couple of minutes let cool down, pop out of shell and mush it between fingers.
