Hello! I have a 200L tank atm which has 10 neons, 7 glass bloodfins, a sunset platy and a bristlenose pleco.
Its heavily planted across the back of the aquarium and i have piece of bog wood in there.

So i was on youtube and somehow managed to get to African dwarf frogs from watching Raywilliamjohnson... but anyway, they looked so cool and active haha. Do i have enough space for one or two?
All the other fish are doing fine, I do a weekly 25% water change & gravel clean and Im pretty sure my water quality is ok-good ...

Ok? Definitely not? Constructive criticism welcome! Thanks :fun:

I've had ADF in the past, I did like them alot BUT the one problem is they go into hiding and can be hard to spot, I had 10 in a 4' tank and still it was pot luck if I see them. Very friendly, like sand bottom and do swim/dash to the top for a bit of air.

in that big of a tank, you may have trouble with feeding. Theses frogs hunt primarily by scent as they have very poor vision. The fish will almost always find the food first and the frogs often end up starving. They have to be hand or spot fed with a turkey baster or tweezers which can be hard to do in a large tank with numerous hiding spots.

You could set up a small separate tank easily for a nice colony of frogs - you would be able to enjoy them much more and have none of the issues that come with a community tank.

I've got my four ADF's in a 3ft tank & they've all set up home under a large Mossball that has become untangled slightly. The mossball is right up against the corner of the tank so I can easily see the frogs underneath etc.,

I just turkey baste their food right down through it. The also like to climb through it too to nibble any bits that get stuck in the plant & I think it makes them feel safe.

Just another idea that might help.

Thanks for the advice peeps, I reckon I'm gunna buy a new tank for them... Whats a good size for say about 3 whilst being as spatially economical as possible? Oh and I know this sounds like a ridiculous question but do they smell? Haha!
Whether they do or not will determine where I'll put them in the house haha, I'm not just being petty

a ten gallon would suit your needs.
dont forget filter and heater.

and no, they do not smell - the only smell you would perceive is that of dirty water if you become negligent on doing water changes.

also remember they like a low flow tank.
