African Dwarf Frogs

Will African Dwarf Frogs be just as happy by themselves as they would be with other frogs?

it will be "fine" alone....but much happier with other adf in the tank - - also, be diligent when buying the frogs - - make sure you get ALL adf - - feel free to check out the links in my signature for info on how to keep the little guys happy

The tank will contain tetras and shrimp. Would another frog make it happier still or they just like any species?

Careful, because I'm pretty sure african dwarf frogs will try to lunge at the shrimp. They've got poor vision and will lunge at everything that moves in front of them.

the frog will try to eat the shrimp - - it is just natural to them. it is usually best to choose just one bottom dwelling species.

the frog won't see shrimp and fish as companions....only another frog
