african cichlid needs help!!

Please help. I have a 72 gallon aquarium with several fish who all appear fine except the Large african cichlid who appears bloated and now has large fluid filled sacks coming out of his head, one eye is also cloudy. He also has white spots, fungus? around his head. He is around 7-8 years old and I have not made any changes to the tank. I do have an algae problem but that is not new either. He does not seem to have an appetite. How long do they live? Is this the end and can I help him? He is the leader of our tank. I am not sure if it is a he but it is the larger of the two cichlids. Any help is appreciated. Thank You. Loretta

What are your test results in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph, what is your maintanance routine on the tank, first of do a water change, then add an anti in ternal bacteria med to the tank as well as some melafix.

Also there are a number of second infection with the fish, don't be surprised if the fish dosn't make it as he is in a bad way, i no he's not eating but try him with a shelled pea and some daphnia.
