African Cichlid Color

What type of Cichids should i get that show the best coloring for CenterPieces.
 
As i am getting them later today i want your Opinions on what good colors are good CenterPieces for a Tank for when you walk into a house. Colors like Blue/red, and yellow or some of the mix

Peacock cichlids come in a array of colours and can be absolutely stunning!

would they be compatible in a 55Gal tank as they get bigger than the other Cichlids i want to get ( Lake Victoria --- South American Cichlids )
