How small of a space can they jump through? How could I seal up the back of my tank cover? They are so cool I just don't want to get 1 and find it dried up on my floor the next day :/ 8)

Mine have never jumped. I provide loads of tall plants and floating plants to make them feel secure and the only hole in my lid I sealed up with plastic and duck tape.

like ryan says.

Make sure they ave areas away from light that are shaded.

Now in my tank because of the background i made it overhangs into the tank, and makes perfect secluded areas for them.

Or simply have plants that create shady areas on the surface.

Or you could use floating plastic plants and attach to the sides of the tank.

They should not jump but they will leap across the surface of the water once big enough.

Also make sure you don't have any surface fish under 1inch, as they will be seen as food plain and simple.
