Advice Request On What Fish To Get…

Hi,
I’m new to keeping tropical fish. I was given a 60 litre tank which already contained…
- 5 orange barbs
- 1 glow band tetra
- 1 neon tetra
- 1 penguin tetra
- 1 black neon tetra

I have bought a cat fish and 5 glow band tetras to keep the lonely one company. Now I’m a bit unsure what next to get, as ideally I don’t want any tetras to be without some buddy’s, yet of course I don’t want to over stock the tank . Does any one have advice on what fish I should get next?

Hi! That sounds fairly fully stocked for a 60 ltr. What species is your catfish? some of them grow huge. Good idea to get the glow band a school- that is what they want. Don't think you'll be able to do the same for the neon, the black neon and the penguin though. Maybe you could find someone who has a school already that they could live in?

Thank you for the reply . The catfish is a leopard plec. He's about 5cm at the moment but growing fast! Yes giving the fish to someone who already has schools of them is a good idea. Do you know if pet shops will take them?
