if you want a nemo fish and want him to live i would not starte with him if just want a few like two or three i would do a nano tank 20 gallons and start with some damsle so that why if you kill them you won't feel so bad... if you can go to marine chit chat i posted the steps i use to cycle my tanks and my methos had worked really good for me. :fun: http://fish.orbust.net/forums/index.php?sh...showtopic=29766

yes, please go to the marine section. You have read right though. Clown fish are great beginner salt water fish. They are pretty hardy. I cycled my new SW tank with them. I love clowns, and I have not had any problems with them eating corals as previously mentioned. SW tanks invlove a great amount of planning and cycling. I would caution you on starting one with just the advice of the forum. While you will find a wealth of info here, it would be best if you bought a nice book about setting up a SW tank (there is a SW for dummies book that I have read and recommend it to you) and find a local fish store where you can get some good baseline advice. Don't go with the first one you see, but shop around. If you only have one, then look on the net and here, but know that not everything you read on the net is true.

thanks all...

sorry about it being in the wrong room....

i am new at this forum stuff....and very new at SW tanks

Well remember we were all new once! Don't worry about it! :fun:

So, have you thought any more about what you are going to do?
