I would like to make my own co2 kit and would like step-by-step advice in laymens terms as to how to do this. I have looked at various sites on the subject and the info does get a little complicated at times - I just want the basics, something that i can work on and learn from.

I have very little knowledge in how to make, use and at what intervals to use.

I have a 300 litre tank and would like my tropical plants to blossom rather than struggle.

Many, many thanks.

is this for a fermentation kit (yeast, CO2 & sugar) or a pressurized kit? (pressurized cylinder)

Thanks.

You just need a 2l bottle, make a 6mm hole in the lid, push some airline through and silicone it if necassary,
then add a check valve to stop water siphoning from the tank, and then you need to diffuse it somehow.

However, this isnt ideal for a 300l tank as you will need about 5 bottles+

What is your lighting? (number of tubes, wattage, and diameter - T5/ T8)

Can i also point you to this:
