Advice on tank please

Would this be suitable for a Male & Female Betta ?

Size: Depth 24” Dia 8” Dia of hole 4”

I'd say the top is too narow. No room for gas exchange. If you could rip off the top, you might be able to make it livable, though I doubt that any fish would enjoy being cramped in a narrow tube like that.

no way!
that thing is way too tall. fish need longer containers that provide more surface area for gas exchange, plus they swim horizontally. you dont see them hovering up and down.

as for a male and female-they should never be put together unless to breed and even then you really have to know what you are doing to avoid them killing each other.
and they should especially not be put together in such a small vase. save that thing for some flowers.

Wide and shallow is preferable for bettas rather than deep and narrow.
