Advice On Koi

Hi, I want to put in a koi pond (for 3-5 fish), and wondered what size/depth it should be - I live in Queensland in Australia, and don't have problems with ice or anything in winter (coldest it gets here is about 5-10 degrees C). It gets pretty hot and humid in Summer though.

Also, I have got five lovely goldfish, about 6 inches long, could they co-exist with the koi, if I get the koi when they are little?

Also, anyone know any koi breeders in Brisbane?
