Advice On Eggcrate

I managed to find a store to buy some eggcrate for my new lid as I am going topless with my new halide. I was looking at it and wondering if people had any effective way to cut it. It looks very delicate and the front of my tank is slightly bowed so I think the little cross struts may break at their origins.

Many thanks for the overwhleming response , but I have found that a junior hacksaw produces a nice edge that can be smoothed over with some wet and dry.

lol, yeah thats what I use, wire cutters work pretty well too.

Also for future reference, you can use a sharp and heavy knife (like a butcher's knife) for long straight cuts. you just hack away at it and it chips right at the seams. really neat
