As you may have noticed, I have my sevs up for sale on the classifieds board. In my 180g 6ft x 2ft x 2ft tank currently are:

2 juvie sevs (nearly 4" now)
2 festivums (2")
7 boesmanni rainbows (2" at the moment - newly added)
2 common plecs (one stunted 2 year old at 7", one 4" and growing fast - chocolate albino)
1 rusty plec (5-6")
1 albino bristlenose (4" - may be moved to hubby's tank)
1 baby L203 volkswagen/titanic plec - currently 3" and will only grow at an inch a year

I was planning on selling the sevs, and putting a couple of my angels out of my other tank in there. However, I've just been offered a pair of rainbow cichlids (herotilapia multispinosa).

I was wondering - which sounds like the best set up?

Option 1:
Sell sevs, get rainbow cichlids, rest stays the same (other than the possible bristlenose removal)

Option 2:
Sell sevs, get rainbow cichlids, add 2-3 angels - and again, the rest stays the same

Option 3:
Keep sevs, get rainbow cichlids, dont bother with the angels - and see how it goes

Option 4:
Keep it how it is and dont add anything else

We're planning on adding a second Fluval FX5 in a month or two to cover pleccy mess.

What do you think? Could a tank cope with sevs, rainbows and my plecs? It'd mean not adding plants (we have fake but were planning on adding real should the sevs move on). Or is the decision to sell on the sevs a better idea?

Which option would you think was best? Or do you have any other ideas? :good:

I would say 1 or 3. Keep sevs or not, doesnt seem to matter IMO with your set-up +2 rainbows or not. I don't like angels personally so I would say no to angels 100% of the time. The rest of your tank is great with your plecs and festivums. I like it :good:
