Adoption: 2 Girlies Looking For Homes

I'm having a bit of a change in tanks etc. etc. and have 2 girlies in a community tank that might feel much better in a purpose betta only community or individual tanks. Not that they are picking on other fish or are being picked on, but just think they will feel more at ease.

A bit about them:

They are both from Bettaman and by now approx 7 months old or so.

The Mustard gas Halfmoon is a very feisty little thing – can be prone to a bit of chasing and ruling the roost. But is not mean. Unfortunately there was an incident a few weeks ago where she got into my Juwel filter – couldn’t get out and by the time I discovered her, had little bits of her tail missing, but it’s been regrowing nicely and she’s almost back to normal.

The Red CT female (quite a bit larger) is just a lovely very very peaceful (almost shy) girl and would do fantastically in a community tank.

Let me know asap if you are interested and only if you are absolutely 100% sure you can provide good homes for them.

I will send next day special delivery, so someone will have to be there to sign for the delivery.
I would prefer if they went together (saves me on packaging and postage!).

Last but not least, they are free and I will pay the postage. Just be prepared to give them a good home

Edit: one more thing - they are both healthy and have been 100% healthy and disease free since I've had them.

So would like to be considered as a possible adoption agency for your two girls ( I especially love the look of your mustard half moon) pretty thing ain't she.

They could go in my community tank with my other girls or in individual tanks (maybe better for the MG??).

come on then ooh feeshy what was that for? Its one thing to make a face but another not to back it up. If you have a problem with my set up then just say.

I will say though that the male plakat doesnt bother the females at all and just chases them away when they get nosey. The females i got from clover and all are doing well together.

I wish I could clone them all to send to you, but alas. I'm sure that all of you would be able to offer them fabulous homes, but I hate picking So I asked my bf to randomly select a name, and Jessica was the one !

Jess, I’m just a tad concerned about the female mustard gas with your killifish though. The CT girl will be absolutely fine with them I’m sure (if that was the tank you planned to put them in), but the little Mustard Gas can be very cheeky and bossy boots indeed (to put it politely). It does indeed look like you have a sister, so……I actually don’t mind splitting them (I realised I had two of the polystyrene boxes they came in, so though it will cost me a few ££’s more, I don’t actually mind) if you’d rather just have the CT girlie.

And then I’ll just randomly select between Black Angel, Red-Devil (thanks for the offer on tips with packing & postage) and Amerce for the little MG girlie to go to.

Up to you and your call. Send me a PM with your decision and address and day you’d like to receive her/them. The only thing is, I don’t have heat packs. I will obviously double bag in polystyrene boxes (buffered with some newspaper) and wrap the whole thing in an extra layer of bubblewrap. But I would not want to send out on a day we have a very cold snap.

Ah pretty girls. If I'd seen the thread earlier I'd have offered to take them myself. Am sure my7 girls would have happily accepted the two. I have two from bettaman myself and the green hm girl had a bit of an aggressive streak to start with. She soon got passed it when the others ignored her entirely.

If Jessica doesnt take the two then i will pass on the one then. I dont want to risk just the one female going into an established female colony, two wouldve been ok in case there was any agression from the others but i dont want to risk just the one as feisty as she is
Im sure she will be happy whoever she gets as her new mum.

i don't mind having just the one as she could go in my community tank with her sister that i have and a couple more smaller females as the big girls are already established and very bossy, so i had to move the smaller ones

Please let me home her as I have just received a PK male that would love her just as much.
