does ne one know en wuv is doing the adopt a cull thing or if at all? i try to pm her but shes either nvr on or jus doesn't check pms, so i thoght maybe id ask u guys

whats a cull?

Culls are basically "reject" fish.. the runts, the ones with deformities... culling is the process of killing off fish due to problems with the batch.

Basically, a breeder euthanizes any fish that can't develop properly or fend for itself without special treatment. Some -good- breeders don't euthanize the culls, and try to give them the best life possible for them.

If you go to the deformities thread, there is an example of an open mouthed cull. That is a reason some breeders will cull, and cull early.

It tends to be unpleasant and people get riled up over the process of culling.

Keep in mind Guppy, Wuv is also a moderator on the forum, so she gets PM's for that reason and when she announced the "cull program" thing she got SWAMPED with PM's, Lol. So don't take it personally that she wasn't responding to your PM. She's going to be putting out alot of her time to deal with the cull program, so be patient, she'll get to it

o no i wasn't mad that she didn't rely, i understand she was probably swamped wit pm's, its just she annouced that she might b soing it and the i heard nothing about it so i was jus trying to c wen she was gunna starte doing that.
