My African Dwarf Frog's leg started developing this layer of cloudy stuff over the bottom part of his leg, kind of on his foot too. I guess his toenail looks broken too.
I got him a few days ago, and he is in the tank with my Betta. They get along fine when I'm watching, which is often, because I'm on my computer so much and they are right next to it.
Can I cure him somehow? I think I can still return him to PetSmart and get another one, but I like my frog.

I don't think it's molting. It's just on his one leg/foot where the one toe looks broken. It's like a cloudy fuzzy layer of stuff on his foot and leg.
He is just sitting at the bottom of the tank now, not moving often. The other day he was fine and moving around a lot and sitting on the heater a lot.

honestly that does sound like molting to me. it does start at the legs some times.
what it could be is he is towards the end of his molting and thats whats left over.

how is your cycling comimg along?

did you get the 5 gallon in the end or do you still have the 1.5?

ADFs are generally inactive during the day, dont worry about that, they are nocturnal.

Nope, they are still in the 1.5. I got my water tested, and I had ammonia and my ph was too low. So they recommended Ammonia Safe (by Tetra) and Easy Balance (by Tetra). I did another water change yesterday and then added the Pimafix for the, what I think is, fungus. I can't seem to find any pictures of ADFs molting. Actually, he has the same white fuzzy stuff on his hand diagonal to the foot that has it, and on is knee on the other leg.
Also, I haven't seen him/her eat. I got the frog on Monday and have always offered these bloodworms in gel. Maybe the frog just doesn't like it, but what else should I try to feed? Could it be not eating due to the fungus? I'm very frustrated, and want to make sure it doesn't die, but it's not eating and the white stuff is getting worse.

it sounds like molting imo, they dont move much during the day time, and he may not be eating because a lot of times when they molt they eat their shedded skin. i would not treat for fungus until you are abousletly 100% sure that is what it is. if i remember you have or had a betta with him. it could cause more problems than its worth in the end. good luck and its only my opinion

Alright, thank you. I'm keeping my hopes up. I tend to freak out when my pets get sick. I have a rabbit, a guinea pig, two hairless rats, and this is my first time trying to maintain a fish tank. The Betta is doing awesome, and loves food. I would really like a picture of what molting looks like, cause I have no idea! Thanks.

the one in the corner is molting, its very hard to see. he started out looking like his skin was kinda loose, then he shot up n swam out of it, mine sometimes kick and pull and look like they are possessed when it happens, in the end they have little bits n pieces left over it take a few days for it to fall off.

I have purchased adf before and since they tend to nip at eachother when they are not fed well at the store they get sores and with the dirty water get infections and fungus. If this happens you need to quarantine the frog because it can be contagious, but usually the first step is clean water so the wound can start to heal, once started they are amazing at recovering.
Here is a pic of a frog with fungus.
