Hi
sadly our Betta died this morning - bacterial infection by the look of it but so sudden. He was living with one adf and I want to treat the tank to make sure he is ok and before putting any other inhabitants in - due to get another adf next week and will want to replace the betta eventually when we get over the loss.

Anyway - what is safe with adfs?
was thinking of maybe eSHa 2000

what do people thibk?

Thanks for lreading

I'm not sure the frog needs it, if it's showing no signs of a bacterial infection you could be treating it for nothing. Water quality is the biggest reason for bacterial infections in frogs, you need to do frequent water changes, keep the water quality tip top, and leave the frog by itself for a couple of weeks, until you know it's ok. you have to be really careful about medicine with frogs, and I would worry slightly about the medicine you mentioned, mainly because it says on it's website it can cure dropsy in fish which I am pretty sure cannot be cured. Any medicine you do use, should be good for amphibians (I think most ones that you can use with inverts should be ok). but imo there really isn't any need, if the frog is fine, and the water quality stays imaculate.

thanks for those thoughts. yup - all the stats are spot on. Nice little tank - running really well. just think the mystery aka bacteria that took the betta must still be lurking in there if you see what I mean.
