I've had one ADF for maybe a month now and on the 12th of October I bought another ADF. He is a male. Then on the 13th I bought another ADF. From what I think, she is a female. But I don't know the sex of the first frog. I'm thinking a girl. So in my tank I have some mollies and some platies along with the frogs. And the two frogs I bought recently seem to really be getting along. I mean REALLY. I was just wondering how easy it is for the frogs to mate and that I will have little frogies all over in my tank? Or should I bring the frog back to the Petco. I cannot have frog babies!

They breed quite easily but as the eggs float on the top of the water, they quickly become fish food. I wouldn't worry about becoming overwhelmed with tadpoles.

Fast breeders. Thats what I can say. I bought two ADF's for the first time in my 29g tank. Lucky for me? I got a girl and a guy. :) awesome! I've caught them mate, twice but I'm sure they have mated a lot already. :) Sadly, I cannot save the tapdles. >__> Crazy Black skirt eats em up fast :/

Though It'd be cool seeing a tadpole grow into a frog.
