i've had these two ADF's for about a month now and this past week, they've started hiding behind the filter (internal tetra micro) and even used it to climb up out of the water (don't worry i've got every hole in there covered very well).
now they are laying on top of the plants at the surface of the water.

both are things they never used to do before. is it normal? and why do they like that damn filter so much?? i never get to see them anymore :(

Mine used to float at the top of the water sometimes. That was normal for them, especially when they wanted food.

I think mine also used to ride the current of the filter water for fun! I'm no expert, but I wouldn't worry too much.

Hi nino :)

Do you have a little cave for your ADFs to hang out in? I think they might be just trying to get a little privacy by hiding behind the filter. Perhaps if you put something else in there for them, which will allow you to see into it, they might like it better. :D
