Adding to new tank

Hi everybody

When i set up my new tank i thought i looked great the gravel look great the fake little plants look great and the twisted root looked great but now i've added some real plant and they look even better but there doesn't seem to be that much gravel for the root to grow into is it possiable to add some more gravel.

How many inches deep is it at the moment?

hi Jon it's about 1 1/2in - 2 in places

You can add some more gravel, if you wash it carefully and add it gently in small amounts, don't just chuck it in. The depth you have at the moment is ok, a little deeper 2 - 2.5 inches overall would be better for plants.
