Adding Pictures To This Site Using Iphone

Every picture I try to add is too large over 300KB. How do all you guys add pics to posts? I've added a couple before by cropping the pic down to a tiny version.

Try taking the pictures at a lower resolution? I dont ever seem to run into that issue - I upload my pictures to imgur and then use image links to post them here.

We prefer people to upload photos directly to the site, so that they are there permanently. If you upload to photobucket, etc., and then delete the photo at some point later, the photo disappears from here too.
 
As Sam says, lower resolution is fine - on my PC, I use GIMP to reduce the image quality of my jpegs down to about 40%, and it's still perfectly viewable on the site.

THere should be an area which gives you <IMG> tags. Copy these over.

Copy the http address.
 
Then click the Image button on the menu bar above the editor window, and paste the URL in there.

None of that is there on my iphone just post and more reply options. More reply options only has the upload 300KB picture option there and options like emotions icons and signature ect. I think I need to try later on my pc.

I usually take the picture them email it to myself on my iPhone. Before it sends it gives you the option of what size to send the pic. Select the one lower that 300kb. Once you receive it just save it again then you can upload it to this forum
