I have a 55g reef tank and currently have 2 perc clowns and 1 yellow watchman goby. I was wondering if I could add these:

Coral Beauty Angel
Flame Angel
Lawnmower Blenny

Another question is would any of these eat Bryopsis?

Mixing Angels in a 55g may not be the greatest of ideas IMO

As for the removal of bryopsis, are you running Antiphos

As far I know none of the above will touch bryopsis, foxface's have been know to help with bryopsis

Seahares will also do the job - but will not survive long in most tanks

Alos you could try pulling the worst bits out

I'm not using Antiphos, and from what I've been reading is that manual removal is needed for Bryopsis. Also when I test the water for phospahtes the result is 0.

I would suspect that there will be high levels of PO4 and NO3, but you cant get a reading as the Bryopsis will be using it up

What skimmer are you using
What is your Turnover
Are you using RO Water

How bad is the Bryopsis anyway :good:

Also do you have a DSB - if so how deep?

I am using a cpr bakpak skimmer, and have 2 mj600 and 1 seio620 and I am using Ro water. My sand is 2-3 Inches. I have a small patch of it on one rock and its about 1.5 inches tall 2 inch wide

Ok so you skimmers a bit touch & go - May be an idea to upgrade IMO - If I remember rightly the max tank they skim is 60g

Turnover :good: , Ro :good: Sandbed :good:

I would remove the algea by hand & start using a Phos reducer

Chac

Thanks for your help and taking the time to answer my questions
