Adding A New Filter

Right whats the best way to do this, I want to replace my baby ehien with the APS 1000

Do I swap the media over?

Do I keep both running side by side for a few months?

You have answered your question urself, you must be picking up on this fish keeping malarky quite fast

You can do either, upto you.

I'd probably say putting the existing media into your new filter along with the new media (if it all fits) would be the best option but you can also run them side by side if you prefer for about 6 weeks
