I have talked to a lot of people and they say that I need to add B Ionic parts 1 and 2 and Reef solution evryday to my tank. Is this correct? They also say to add Kent Marine Tech I as a iodine and iodide supplement.

Only add things if you are testing to make sure that you don't add too much. Not the best thing in the world to blindly add something that may still be in the system from the day before if you catch what I mean. Iodine help with molting and most corals benefit, but too easy to OD if you're not careful.

Funny, I have had a reef tank for three years now and I wouldn't have a clue on how to dose B ionic. I did just get a buttload of it in an auction I won though.

What is your tank specs?

GL I'll take that b-ionic from you (what auction? I always search for the stuff!).

But don't add anything unless tests show you need it, and never add anything if you don't know the ingredients. Addives without ingredient lists are invariably snake oils. If they won't tell you the make-up, it is bad for your tank. That's the rule of thumb to keep things safe.
