Well it's not quite a journal from day one but an insight to the progression from here on in. This tank has been set up for almost a year now. Though I do have other tanks (4 in total) this one is the one I enjoy most as its not to big yet not to small. It is a 180ltr Juwel. Please feel free to comment on the below picture, suggest, advice, even offer criticism if you feel it is needed.

*I'm not to keen on moving to much around, and the center wood has to stay put, however do you think plant's are in the wrong place? Or better suited somewhere else? Please suggest.

Still looking for suggestions on layout, comments etc. I have made a few changes these last few days, small but should take effect once all grows a bit more.

really nice looking tank! what filter you running?

Thanks, open to suggestions, ideas etc. Believe it or not, its just the Juwel Bioflow 600. However looking to add an external filter in addition soon.

Plant wise-maybe some taller stems front left corner.Frame the scene & add some depth.
Nice amount of Cards, not too sure about the Bala Sharks?.
Nice tank, i like it.

Yes filter just does the job. Yes hopefully will try and get amazons growing a bit more now, if not any suggestions on what to add? Had the Bala Sharks moved over from my 450 as they have just breeded and parents eat the young so I'm allowing some growth before putting them back.

Any further comments, suggestions, improvements you feel I could make? Ta.

I've got some "Vallisneria.nana" growing atm, its just starting to take effect. Some "Aponogeton.crispus" looks nice and would suit the corner where the swords are, as they are not growing too well. Though wan't a bit more colour, but shall look into that.

Let me know of any other suggestions please. Thanks.
