Ada Soil Vs Florabase

Hello.
 
I got my new tank, still awaiting for all the other equipment. The filter media has been removed from my new filter and put in my existing tank's filter to sort of cycle it.
 
Anyway, I came across ADA and florabase. With £4 difference, would it be worth getting ADA soil?
Does it offer the same nutrients and performace as florabase? Is it better overall? It looks nicer as the pieces are all different size whereas Florabase 2.5L are all the same or similar size round pellets.

as far as i am aware and so i have been told elsewhere, with ADA you are just paying for the amano name, colombo flora and ADA are pretty much the exact same thing, i use flora myself

You can get florobase in fine pellets as well, people use the mixture to good effect when scaping, with the fine around features to get the look right.
