Acrylic Tanks

Wondered if anyone has had an acylic tank built?

I fancy a 5 footer for the living room & the weight / clarity advantages really appeal to me. If anyone can recommend a suitable builder & give me some pointers on pricing I would be most grateful.

there is a guy on here (sorry ive forgotten his name) but he had a tank built out of acrylic, it was massive if you look through the build threads you may find them,

i had one before 84x32x30

its not until you go real big that the costs start to get better than glass

its much clearer than glass much ligher

just make sure you get it made by a good company as i have seen some bad jobs as its the joint than need to be good or it looks rubbish

if you are in the UK then try Neptune 01384 821100 but dont expect them to be cheap you get what you pay for
