So can you guys tell med the best way to aclimatise fish and inverts (by inverts i mean the CUC not corals), i ask this as im getting 2 the end of my cycle so i am nearly ready to add my CUC.

thanks in advance

With fish I acclimatise for 20 minutes by using airline to drip tank water into the bag

For Inverts I do the same but for 2 hours (many inverts are sensitive to salinity changes)

one good hint for inverts is to put them in the tank legs up. this will avoid the possibility of air being trapped under any part of the carapace.

Temp aclimation for corals

1 hour drip for fish

2 hour drips for other inverts.

Really it doesn't matter a whole hell of a lot as long as the fish lands in the tank at some point; the average hermit crab can handle substantial variations so no worries with those. Snails are a bit more sensitive due to their soft bodies.
